Larry Nault is a Certified Kingdom Advisor, Stages of Growth Business Consultant and Financial Advisor with over thirty years working with some of America's wealthiest families. In 2004, a client situation challenged him about his faith and launched him on a journey of self - discovery.  The following year, Larry attended a workshop for Christian advisors where he was both humbled and inspired as he learned the keys to integrating his faith with work and how to build a business of significance and lasting impact. 

With the help of several Godly men, the Building A Kingdom Company Workshop was launched in 2010. Today, a Christ-centered consulting firm and community of inspired leaders, BKC exists to help Christian business owners build great companies that glorify and advance the Kingdom of God.

​BKC Director of Legal Services - Theresa Sidebotham, J.D. brings years of practical experience to our team and community as an attorney in private practice.  Christian business owners who desire living out their faith through their business have unique needs.  Theresa specializes in business & employment law and first amendment rights. ​BKC Intercessor and Director of Chaplain Services - Gloria Shana brought years of practical experience to our BKC Team and Community as a Pastor, Certified Chaplain, and Trained Intercessor.  "This is the word the Lord gave me for BKC and the work he has called us to: "Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings. Isa. 58:12".  We are sad to report that Gloria passed away in the summer of 2022; she will always be remembered and with us in spirit.

Michael Scott is the managing partner and CEO of Pure Flix, a production company that has produced more than 40 movies worldwide.  Scott has helped the company become the world's largest faith and family movie production and distributor.

After founding Pure Flix with partners Russell Wolfe and David A.R. White in 2005, Scott has produced such box office hits as “God’s Not Dead,” “Do You Believe?,” “What If…,” and “The Case For Christ”

“God’s Not Dead” earned $61 million in box office receipts and is the fifth-most profitable movie of all time. He’s also produced a successful TV series “Travel the Road” (based on his brother’s extensive international ministry work) as well as “The Encounter” series.

In 2015, Scott helped launch PureFlix.com, a subscription-video-on-demand service that provides consumers streaming faith and family entertainment anytime, anywhere.

Scott, who has degrees in Theology and Applied Science (Photography/Film), lives in Scottsdale, Ariz., and Bangkok, Thailand with his wife, Siri, and son, Jerry. He enjoys traveling, skiing, scuba diving, and tennis in his free time.

Colorado businessman and entrepreneur, Tim McTavish, MBA, joined the Colorado Christian University Board of Trustees in 2009 during the tenure of then-President Bill Armstrong. Tim was elected chair of the Board of Trustees in June and stepped into the role of interim president in August 2022 when President Donald W. Sweeting transitioned to the role of chancellor. Tim is also an adjunct professor of CCU's School of Business and Leadership. 

​Honoring Christ in the workplace was a foreign concept to Tim McTavish.  It shouldn't have been; Tim grew up in a Christian home and has always considered himself a follower of Jesus. Yet in 2003, 10 years after starting his company, InsureMe.com, his eyes were opened to just how compartmentalized his life had become, and how Christ had taken a back seat when it came to his business. 

Tim re-dedicated his life and his business to God, and began to implement basic Biblical principles in the workplace. "To say that "God blessed me" would be an understatement.  Employee turnover dropped from more than 300% to less than 10%, profits grew 10X in five years, the company was honored with being ranked in the Top 25 Great Places to Work in America, and they were awarded the Most Philanthropic Small Business in Colorado". 

In 2008, Tim sold InsureMe to Bankrate, a public company.  Since then, Tim has enjoyed a deeper connection with his family and completed his MBA at Colorado Christian University where he serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees and teaches a course on Entrepreneurship.  Tim is also the founder of GivingZone.com, a site dedicated to personal fundraising.  ​

Peter Freissle is the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Polydeck Screen Corporation with a workforce of over 200 employees.  The company provides synthetic screen media to the mining industry worldwide. In 1994 he moved from South Africa to Spartanburg, South Carolina to lead the successful growth of the company founded by his father.

Peter is on the Board of Corporate Chaplains of America. Along with several other Christian business leaders, he has formed a non-profit called "His Way At Work" to help other businesses learn how to successfully follow through with using Christian values in the Workplace. ​​Mike Baer is considered to be one of the initiators of the modern Business as Mission movement.  After 15 years as a pastor/church planter, Mike migrated into business where he began to understand the amazing potential for Kingdom- Work in the marketplace. 

​On a trip to Kyrgyzstan in the early 1990's, Mike encountered the opportunity to use business as an entrée into Muslim settings.  Out of that experience grew the Jholdas Project, a business incubation ministry that operates in over 25 countries, has deployed over 1,000 volunteer trainers, and launched more than 1,300 businesses among the unreached. 

Today, Mike is the Chief Development Officer for Employbridge, one of the largest staffing companies in North America, Strategic Coach and Leadership consultant. Staffing executive since 1991--focused on turnarounds, launches, field leadership, lean process improvement, strategic planning and leadership development. Mike is the author of "Business as Mission", a sought after speaker internationally, and, most proudly, married since 1977, the father of two daughters, and the grandfather of five.​
