BY LARRY NAULT, BKC President & Chief Strategist At Building A Kingdom Company (BKC), we are Kingdom Company Architects. We don’t build on shifting trends or copy someone else’s model. We help leaders build from Heaven’s blueprint, so their companies are rooted in God’s Presence and Power, bearing fruit that lasts. Our refreshed Strategic Foundation reveals how Kingdom companies are designed. At the center is God’s Presence and Power. Surrounding that center are four cornerstones: Sonship (Why), Purpose (What), Culture (Who), and Excellence (How). 🔷 God’s Presence & Power Heaven is Revealed, and Authority Flows. Everything begins and ends with Him. Moses declared, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here” (Ex. 33:15). Without God’s presence and power at the center, our work is just human effort. But when His presence fills a company, Heaven is revealed. His power releases wisdom, peace, and courage. And His Spirit authorizes leaders to govern, create, and reform beyond human ability. The company itself becomes a dwelling place where Heaven touches earth, and authority flows outward into every area of business and influence. Jesus said, “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Mt. 16:19). From His presence, God entrusts us with authority to bind and loose, to forbid what is not of Heaven and to release what is. His presence is not passive; it is the active place where Heaven is revealed, keys are given, and authority flows into leadership. When God’s Presence and Power are central, leaders don’t just manage companies, they govern Kingdom enterprises with Heaven’s authority on earth. Reflection Questions • Am I drawing authority from His presence, or relying on my own strength? • What needs to be bound (closed off) in my company? What needs to be loosed (released)? 🔷 Sonship (Why) Identity Anchors Activity - Authority Empowers It. Our first “why” is not profit, reputation, or growth; it is that we are sons and daughters of the Living God. “You did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons” (Rom. 8:15). Sonship carries both belonging and authority. Paul reminds us: “If children, then heirs, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ” (Rom. 8:17). As heirs, we are entrusted with Kingdom authority to govern, steward, and reform according to Heaven’s design. When leaders embrace both identity and authority: • They govern from belonging, not striving. • They carry weight in the spiritual realm, breaking strongholds over their companies and industries. • They multiply authority by raising up other sons and daughters to lead. Reflection Questions • Do I lead from the authority of sonship, or do I shrink back into fear and striving? • How am I exercising Kingdom authority in the way I govern my company? 🔷 Purpose (What) Alignment Unlocks Abundance - Authority Directs It. God has prepared good works in advance for each of us (Eph. 2:10). Your unique Kingdom Purpose is not invented; it is discovered and aligned with His scroll. Jesus taught, “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Mt. 6:33). Alignment is what unlocks abundance. But purpose also channels authority. Authority without assignment drifts; authority with assignment transforms. When leaders align with Heaven’s unique Kingdom Purpose: • Authority is exercised toward the right goals and objectives. • Resources and opportunities flow in God’s timing. • Abundance is released in wisdom, creativity, and relationships. Reflection Questions • Am I stewarding my authority toward the assignment Heaven has given, or toward my own ambitions? • Where is God calling me to align more intentionally with His scroll for my company? 🔷 Culture (Who) Love Builds the Environment - Authority Protects It. Jesus said, “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another” (Jn. 13:35). Culture is relational; it is about how people experience love, honor, and trust inside your company. But Kingdom culture is not fragile; it is guarded by godly authority. Leaders have a mandate to protect the atmosphere of honor and love so it cannot be hijacked by fear, control, or division. When culture is governed with love and authority: • Employees are valued as image-bearers, not tools. • Conflict is addressed with both grace and firmness. • Teams unite around shared purpose, knowing leadership will protect what is sacred. Reflection Questions • Am I exercising authority to protect the culture God has entrusted to me? • What behaviors or attitudes do I need to confront to guard love and honor in this company? 🔷 Excellence (How) Revelation Becomes Reformation - Authority Sustains It. Paul wrote, “All things should be done decently and in order” (1 Cor. 14:40). Excellence is stewardship, the way revelation from God becomes strategies, systems, and results that last. Excellence requires authority; leaders must govern processes, steward resources, and hold people accountable so what God revealed doesn’t fade but reforms entire industries. When excellence is exercised with authority: • Governance and decision rights bring clarity, not chaos. • Systems serve the vision, rather than suffocate it. • Vision is protected from drift, sustaining long-term transformation. Reflection Questions • Am I using my authority to ensure that revelation is implemented well? • Do our systems reflect both order and Kingdom values? 🔷 Phase One of BKC's Four-Phase Reformation Process The Strategic Foundation is the starting point of BKC’s Four-Phase Reformation Process, our roadmap for transforming leaders and companies in alignment with Heaven’s design. This process moves leaders and companies from: • Personal alignment (identity and purpose), • to organizational reformation (culture and systems), • to societal impact (industries, cities, nations). 🔷 Heaven is Calling - Don't Build Alone
Every company is building on a foundation, but not every foundation lasts. Many leaders try to “do it themselves,” and end up striving harder while missing Heaven’s blueprint. At BKC, we help leaders align with Heaven’s Blueprint, uncover blind spots, and build on the Strategic Foundation where authority flows and abundance is unlocked. Earth is the prize. Heaven is the reward. Let’s begin your reformation journey.
