bkc NEWSLETTER - CHOOSING DESTINY: pRIEST AND KING - PART 4

​WELCOME new members and to ALL our COMMUNITY as we continue this series on understanding your IDENTITY and fulfilling your DESTINY. 
 
In our last edition entitled "From Servant to King" we discovered that as we mature in our RELATIONSHIP with FATHER we learn something special about HIS BUSINESS: 

1) We are CO-HEIR's of HIS KINGDOM (Rm. 8:17)
 
2) HE wrote HIS DESIRES on OUR HEARTS (Jer. 31:33)  
 
3) HE gives us PERMISSION to PURSUE these DESIRES (Ps. 37:4)
 
Every great man or woman of GOD in the Bible and in this life set about KNOWING and DOING WHAT FATHER IS DOING. That's the norm for spiritual maturity. Jesus said: 
​
“I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. John 5:19-20 NIV
 ​
Do you hear Father calling you? WHAT is HE revealing to YOU about your LIFE and BUSINESS PURPOSE?

​Kings share one common phenomenon: as CO-HEIRS we are all CONTENDING for our INHERITANCE and PURSUING a DREAM. 
 
This REQUIRES us to CO-LABOR with CHRIST; knocking on some doors and having the keys to open them. Jesus said: 
 
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened". Matthew 7:7-8 NIV
 ​
Where does this CONFIDENCE to ASK and the AUTHORITY to CONTEND come from? Why do we have CONFIDENCE in the DESIRES of OUR HEARTS? 
 
Because we KNOW that OUR HEART'S DESIRES are the same as FATHERS. We see OURSELVES DOING what FATHER is DOING. OUR AUTHORITY comes from KNOWING that OUR DESIRES OVERLAP with the WILL OF FATHER.
