God has given you authority and power to act in the industry you are positioned in. BKC EXISTS to help followers of Christ build great companies that glorify and advance the kingdom of God! In our last newsletter, entitled "SALT OF THE WORLD" we learned that life's greatest challenge is in knowing what to do and the sad failure it is to be successful in the wrong assignment (read more). In today's edition, entitled "SETTING PRIORITIES 2Q 2019" we discuss how to determine what we will be involved in each day and what keeps us in sync with the will of our heavenly Father for the daily tasks He calls us to? Jesus tells us that He was only involved in those things the Father was involved in, nothing more - nothing less: "Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does." (John 5:19) So often we determine our participation in an activity based on whether we have the time to do it or whether we desire to participate.

There is a crisis of grand proportions in the spiritual house of God today. The moral fiber of our world has eroded. Greed, idolatry, and pleasure are the gods of our day. And it is no different in the Body of Christ. When we begin to blend in with the moral condition of an ungodly world, we begin losing God's perspective on life. It is a dangerous place to get with God. "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." (Rm. 12:2) God has called us to be salt in a world that needs much salt. "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men." (Mt. 5:13) |
