BY LARRY NAULT - BKC President and Chief Strategist We live in a world where many doubt a follower of Christ can run a highly successful business without compromise or while following biblical principles. Our Mission is to provide Biblically-based leadership development and comprehensive strategic planning to companies around the globe. In today's newsletter, entitiled "ETERNAL DECISIONS" we highlight five critical "decisions of the heart" for maturing Christians who want to build Kingdom Companies. These five critical "decisions of the heart" all have eternal consequences:
1) The Salvation Decision - Do you trust Him for your salvation? "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Jn. 3:16 2) The Lordship Decision - Have you given Him control of your life and business? "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." Rm. 12:1-2 also read 1 Co. 3:10-15 3) The Calling Decision - Do you use your gifts, talents, experiences and opportunities where you are for His glory? "As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received." Eph. 4:1 also read Eph. 2:10 4) The Stewardship Decision - Do you manage everything God has entrusted to you for His glory? "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!' " Mt. 25:21 for full context read Mt. 25:14-30 5) The Treasure Decision - Are you a pipeline of God's love and grace? “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
