​Are you experiencing the power of God that is available to you? 

After Christ’s resurrection, He presented Himself to the disciples and gave many convincing proofs that He was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: 

“Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” Acts 1:3-5

Then Jesus, said:
​

“You will receive the power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8 

After seeing the resurrected Christ, the disciples were fearless and risked everything to spread the Good News about Him around the world. 

Power from the Holy Spirit is not limited to strength beyond the ordinary; this power also involves courage, boldness, confidence, insight, ability and authority. The disciples would need all these gifts to fulfill their mission and so will we!

“Do you see God using the lives of others, but an obstacle has come into your life and you do not seem to be of any use to God? Then keep paying attention to the Source, and God will either take you around the obstacle or remove it. The river of the Spirit of God overcomes all obstacles.”
