Welcome to our community and another exciting year of REST and INITIATIVE on your way to understanding your IDENTITY and fulfilling your DESTINY. 

We received a lot of buzz from our last post entitled “Understanding Our Dual Role as Priest and King: Part 1” and promised you a follow up to further unpack this teaching and illustration below. Today’s newsletter is about “Partnering with Father".

The first step to “Partnering with Father” is to realize that it ALL BEGINS WITH HIM. 

When we begin accumulating wealth, managing people, and becoming known for our workplace expertise, we are most susceptible to falling to the most devious sin in God’s eyes — PRIDE. 
​

Scripture tells us that "God is the reason we are able to produce wealth" (Dt. 8:18a); it is not of our own making.

"There is One God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all" (Eph. 4:6). In other words, He is above us, with us and inside us!
​

The second step to “Partnering with Father” is to develop a RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM. 

It isn’t enough to have a desire to follow God; we must put our energy into getting to know Him and what He is doing. Knowing His DESIRE FOR US flows out of our RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM, it is not an end in itself.

“Many are called, but few are chosen” (Mt. 22:14). That is, few prove that they are the chosen ones. The chosen ones are those who have come into a RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD through Jesus Christ and have had their spiritual condition changed and their ears opened.

It is here that you will be given the REVELATION that leads to understanding your true IDENTITY and PURPOSE IN LIFE. It is here that you will gain the WISDOM to choose your DESTINY; God does not force HIS will on us. 

Do you SEE the connection between REST and INITIATIVE and that you must experience HIS PRESENCE to experience TRUE POWER?

If we will allow the Holy Spirit to bring us face to face with God, we too will HEAR what Isaiah heard “the voice of the Lord” and in perfect freedom we too will say, “Here am I - Send me” (Is. 6:8).
