WELCOME new members and to all our community as we continue this journey of building great companies that glorify and advance the kingdom of God! Your identity determines your destiny. That’s a pretty big statement. But in the life of Moses, we see that it’s true. Once Moses realized who he was, his life took a whole new direction. Hebrews 11:27 (NLT) says: “It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger. He kept right on going because he kept his eyes on the one who is invisible." Learning your true identity does two things: it gives you the courage to let go of the past, and the courage to walk into the future. Moses “left the land of Egypt.” He had the courage to let go of his past.

In today's edition we learn the importance of knowing who we really are. It’s true that when we don’t know who we are, we live for other people’s approval. But God offers us so much more. He wants us to live in the true identity that he’s given us. The Bible tells a famous story of someone who chose to live in his God-given identity—the story of Moses. Moses was the greatest leader in the entire Old Testament. He led the Jews to freedom after 400 years of slavery in Egypt. He received the Ten Commandments from God. He’s credited with writing the first five books of the Bible. But Moses started life as a slave. As an infant, he was placed in a river basket as his mother tried to save him from genocide. He was found by Pharaoh’s daughter and raised as a prince. BY LARRY NAULT, BKC President and Chief Strategist
WELCOME new members and to all our community as we continue this journey of building great companies that glorify and advance the kingdom of God! In today's edition we learn how to walk in the favor of God. “For those who are led by the Spirit of God are Sons of God.” Romans 8:14 Sons of God have a huge place of favor in the Kingdom. The difference is night and day. Sons have authority over obstacles; we see Father’s purpose first and break the yoke second. The question is, “How does it happen.” Does God sovereignly pick a few favorites, or do we volunteer somehow?” listen to these examples of favor: BY LARRY NAULT, BKC President and Chief Strategist
In today's edition we take a look at one of the few times in scripture that we get a glimpse of what goes on in Heaven: “And the Lord said, ‘Who will entice Ahab into attacking Ramoth Gilead and going to his death there?’ One suggested this, and another that." 1 Kings 22:20 Here is one instance when the angels were conferring with the Lord about the judgment of King Ahab for his sin and who was going to set up Ahab for this judgment. If God wanted to use you to impact your world for Jesus Christ what circumstances would have to be created in order for you to respond to His call? BY LARRY NAULT, BKC President and Chief Strategist
In today's edition, entitled "YOUR KINGDOM SUCCESS" we learn that God is all about your death so that HIS success can be realized through you! "I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life" (John 12:24-26). This is why the Church is having such little impact - there are too many believers who have not yet died to their old nature so that Christ can live fully through them (see Strategic Foundation illustration below - Five Characteristics of a Kingdom Company). In today's edition, entitled "AUDIENCE OF ONE OR MANY" we learn that we all play to an audience. What audience do you play to? Each day you are seen by many who will make a judgment about the way you handle yourself among different audiences. Politicians have learned to play to their audiences, customizing messages for the needs of their particular groups. Musicians have learned to play to their audiences. Pastors play to their congregations each Sunday morning. BY LARRY NAULT, BKC President and Chief Strategist
In today's edition, entitled "FROM SUCCESS TO SIGNIFICANCE" we examine the deception of one and rewards of the other for a follower of Christ. Many of us begin our careers with the goal of achieving success. If we haven’t entered our work as a result of God’s calling, we will eventually face a chasm of deep frustration and emptiness. Success flatters but does not provide a lasting sense of purpose and fulfillment. BY LARRY NAULT, BKC President and Chief Strategist
In today's edition, entitled "THE ART OF WAITING" we learn that there is a need to continually be led by the Spirit when making decisions. "The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps." Proverbs 16:9 (ESV) How are you at waiting on God? How do you determine if God is giving you the green light to move forward? In today's edition, entitled "REFLECTING HIS GLORY" we learn how to measure our effectiveness in God and why we should be thinking like this. The early Church turned the world upside down in that first century. What made them so effective? Was it their theology? Was it great preaching? Was it due to one man's influence apart from Jesus? The Scriptures are clear as to what made the early Church effective. It is at the core of God's heart, and it is quite simple. BY LARRY NAULT, BKC President and Chief Strategist
In today's edition, entitled "BASEBALL & WINNING" we apply a few fundamentals from this great team sport to running a Kingdom Business. Are you making Hits in your business or are you focused on Home Runs? Home Runs are more exciting and usually attributable to success, but Hits are the formula for longstanding success. Look at the careers of baseball Hall of Fame inductees Ty Cobb, Hank Aaron, and Willie Mays. How about the Kingdom Hall of Fame inductees: Noah, Abraham, Joseph, Moses, and David just to name a few (Hebrews 11). |
